Kevin George, Esquire founded Sunshine Legal Group, PLLC in 2020 with a singular mission: to serve his clients with integrity and dedication.
He earned his Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law in 2016. During law school, Kevin was an active member of the Calvin A. Kuenzel Student Bar Association and served as an officer in Stetson’s chapter of Phi Delta Phi, an international legal honor society. He also gained valuable judicial experience as an intern for the Chief Bankruptcy Judge in the Middle District of Florida.
Kevin demonstrated a strong commitment to community service throughout his legal education. He participated in multiple Habitat for Humanity home builds and volunteered extensively with the Community Law Program in Saint Petersburg, Florida, where he assisted numerous low-income families. Additionally, he interned with the Office of General Counsel at the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office and worked with in-house counsel at Moffitt Cancer Center.
Following his admission to the Florida Bar, Kevin began his legal career at one of the state’s largest insurance litigation firms, where he developed substantial courtroom and litigation experience. Over the course of his career, he has recovered millions of dollars on behalf of his clients. Kevin has represented both individuals and businesses, successfully handling a wide range of matters, including complex contractual disputes, always striving to achieve fair and favorable outcomes.
Kevin’s diverse educational and professional background enables him to provide thoughtful, strategic advocacy tailored to each client’s unique needs. To further enhance his ability to serve his clients, he earned a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation from Washington University School of Law, a top ranking law school. Prior to his legal studies, Kevin obtained a Master of Business Administration in Accounting, along with bachelor’s degrees in Philosophy and Accounting, from Loyola University Chicago.
Outside of his legal practice, Kevin enjoys traveling, spending time with his wife and daughter, working on cars, and exploring different cultures and languages.
